I just thought I'd share with you all my new engine build.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It's a iron block 408 cube and the long block has been speced and being built by Rick at Precision Engine Machine in Illinois. Rick has built many LS based engine with great results. I was directed to him through Brett Land with Landspeed Heads.
Basically the engine will include a K1 crank, K1 rods and Wiseco pistons and pins. The pistons and bearings all have Poly Dyn coatings
All new ARP fasteners through out the block, Lunati hydraulic roller race lifters, and the cam specs are 244/252 629/650 113 LSA. The compression ratio is 11.6:1

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The heads are a work of art. They were originally Dart 205 that have been worked by Brett Land of Land-speed development. He worked for MTI racing, Katech racing, Schumacher racing, and helped GM develop the LS3 and LS7 heads. He knows these heads and does an amazing job on them. I HIGHLY recommend him.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]They now have 227cc intake runners, 61cc chambers, flow 322 on his bench and 240 on the exhaust side. The exhaust ports are 94cc. 2.08 intake valves and 1.60 exhaust.
Brett convienced me to run a Super Victor Jr. intake that he will be porting as well.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]To keep the engine safe on nitrous I am going to run a dedicated fuel cell that will activate upon powering the nitrous. The fuel cell will be filled with racing fuel. This should insure I have no fuel issues while on spray.
On engine alone it should run 10.6-10.5 and hoping for high 9's on spray with a good launch. We'll see..
