Club day at IMS letter???? Help!

I could have sworn I received a letter from IMS about a club day. For $25 you got a parking pass to bring your car and park inside the track somewhere. I recall thinking I didn't need it because it coincided with the pace car reunion and I would be there with that, so I threw it away.
I also recall talking about it at a club meeting and others were saying that all you got was the parking pass for $25.

Does anyone else remember this and happen to have the letter? I was down at the museum today and they didn't seem to know about it. Asked if I still had the letter so I could tell the the details.

I don't have the flyer (which came with our most recent newsletter) in front of me, but from what I remember:

The car club days are May 21 and 22. For $25, you get the entrance ticket (a $15 value), a $5 merchandise certificate, a dash plaque, and parking. Anyone riding in your car would also need an entrance ticket, which can be paid upon arrival ($15).

From calling them, the club parking area has not been determined yet. It would be first-come-first-parked and may be limited. There was no decision on opening time yet.

Maybe someone else will know some more about this.

Yes, the Pace Car car show is also May 21 and 22. On the track, May 21 is Pole Day with more qualifying May 22.

I had thrown the copy they mailed me away and had forgotten I had one with my newsletter. I was at the museum for some pace car reunion stuff and mentioned the car club day. Apparently the IMS people failed to mention it to the museum people as they knew nothing about it. They wanted me to send a copy if I could so they could get to the bottom of it.

The flyer seems to emphasize repeatedly that there will be limited infield parking for the car clubs, so I've ordered my parking package and am planning to get there early Saturday. My dad will be visiting Indy, and I'm bringing him with me.

We're looking forward to seeing those '67 pace cars at the show. Really, I have a die-cast of the '67 and NOT the '69, honest.
