Didn't realize that as the PRI show has moved to Florida, Tony Stewart has started his own Racing Industry show up at the convention center. Looks like it is free to the general public as well, just need to register ahead of time to get your credentials mailed to you. Not sure what it means at the end about verifying your identity or whatever at the end of the registration.

I am thinking of taking a vacation day and going to check out the latest offerings from the aftermarket. Looks very cool though. The PRI show was car guy heaven when I went before.

Attention Attendees:
We ask your cooperation in complying with these guidelines as a condition of your participation at the Show.

►Random solicitation or selling of promotional materials or products of any type is not allowed.
►No one under 16 years of age is allowed in the Show, including during move-in and move-out.
►No videotaping or photography will be allowed by anyone other than registered media.

Note: Confirmation of industry work is required for both exhibitors and attendees. To keep this as a motorsports industry event only, we will ask for you to include a business card or cover letter on official company letterhead. We appreciate your cooperation on making sure we keep this show centered around the motorsports and racing industry only!

Looks like you need to be in the industry like SEMA requires. Bummer.

Huh...interesting. I signed up for it but I can use my Cummins info to get in I expect.

Sorry to get everyone revved up.

Maybe one of our sponsors would help us get in?

I deliver to the Tony Stewart Racing retail store everyday. The guy I deal with is a cool guy and we joke around and laugh all the time. I am gonna ask him if he can give me any info, or help me get a pass. Heck, Tonys mom is there all the time. Maybe I could just suck up to her Wink ?!?!

I talked to my buddy Aaron @ Tony Stewart Racing, and he said that it is mainly a race equipment and service related event. For example, there might be companies that do vehicle wraps and graphics, race trailer manufacturers, marketing/promotion reps., race car parts (ex. radiators, helmets, tires, etc.).

Tony is a Co-Sponsor with some other race affiliated companies. I know that C&R Radiators was one of them.

He said that it is in no way anything like a SEMA knockoff or anything like that. No custon rides, or manufacturers showing off anything, but just displaying their products and services to the racing industry.

I got my credentials in the mail this week via Fedex. They actually sent mine and a friend of mine at works to my address for some reason. We both put Cummins so they must have thought it was the same for him.

Anyway, looking at the list of vendors. It is definitely race team oriented. Exhibitors, though, included people like ARP and Comp cams. Most were oddball sounding racing firms that were obviously oriented at dedicated racing.

Oh well, I had hoped maybe the PRI show would have a knockoff here that I could still go to...but Oh Well.

I won't be able to go and would gladly send my credentials to anyone wanting to 'be me' that week. Smile The badge appears that you simply show it and you can walk in...
